(Zhang Huimei – A Bloody Love Story) Lyrics + English Translation

This is one of the most hard-rock-emo Chinese songs I’ve ever translated. It’s also pretty jam-packed with idioms. Because some idioms use a lot of imagery, I decided to keep some of the transliteration of idioms, and put their implied meaning on the footnotes.

Zhang Huimei – A Bloody Love Story

作词:Hush
Jonnic

The sweetness that you have tasted – are all the fruits of [your] loneliness
It’s [a piece of] ‘me’ that you morbidly[9] severed from my heart

A piece of meat as a complimentary gift – always [giving it] without even pretending to [re]consider
You are keen and sharp, so I go on making the wind foul and the rain bloody[1], so voluminously and flowingly[2] that I become a [magnificent] writer

So let me follow [you] step by step in writing[3] the introduction, the theme, the transition, and the summary
Let me write for you a horror novel
Whoever is suspicious, whoever is pitiful, whoever is innocent, whoever lives in degradation –
I have already seen the final ending.

So let me replace you in inheriting the past and ushering the future[4] –
Being engraved on your bones and your heart[5], like a romance novel
Exceeding the flow of blood, exceeding the hand that is sore, the more the heart aches, and the more the muscle aches
Love* that is slashed ten thousand times by one thousand knives[6] is finally becoming alive

*感情 would normally mean “feelings”, but “love” would be more appropriate in this case.

Don’t return it to me; don’t return it to me

The sweetness that you have tasted – are all the fruits of [your] loneliness

To go and make sense[10] of it again – all of this is too late already
Holding together [each other’s] hands[11] has long since been useless
Helplessly watching the empty shell losing its spirit – [leaving] nothing but the two persons who are the separated body and soul[7]*

To go and apply ink on paper again – all of this is too much already
To make this story even heavier is already too vulgar
Until where would be the most impeccable to write
So that the story can desperately threaten to commit suicide[8]

Quotable Quotes from ReLIFE (Manga)

ReLIFE is a manga that describes key issues in Japanese work culture and elaborates on themes such as motivation in life, friendship, and love. Going through the journey in this manga is best described as literally having a “Re-LIFE”, meaning, getting to live life again in such a way that is not mundane nor monotonous – in such a way that one will not have any regrets.

The context involves a 28-year old Kaizaki Arata being a NEET (ニート, which in Japan is an old unemployed person), taking in a magical pill that allows him to appear as a high school student and live through the high school life again.

Meanwhile, here are some quotable quotes (some might hint to spoilers):

“You’re completely worthless, but do your best nonetheless!” – Kaizaki Arata (ReLIFE)

“But fireworks also make me a little sad. They’re flashy, beautiful, and draw me in for a while. But then comes the time they disappear and it makes me feel lonely. It just makes me remember things are beautiful but only for a fleeting moment.” – Kaizaki Arata (ReLIFE)

“Seeing two young people being so cute together hurts.” – Kaizaki Arata (ReLIFE)

“You can really feel proud of what you’ve accomplished when you work together with everyone towards the same goal.” – Kaizaki Arata (ReLIFE)

“School isn’t just about studying. It’s also a place where one can learn all the various skills necessary to live in a society.” – Kaizaki Arata (ReLIFE)

“When you’re at a low moment in your life and you still have to interact with your surroundings, it’s quite tiresome, isn’t it? You’re having such a rough time and yet everyone else seems to be having fun. Since they look like they’re having fun, you don’t want to ruin it by crying or saying something sad by mistake. Even though it’s not their fault if we’re in different situations, you can’t help but be angry. You unintentionally become jealous of them, and when you realize it, you feel pathetic. Then you worry how pathetic you are and want to redeem yourself, but then you gradually end up distancing yourself from everyone and wind up alone. Then once you’re alone and can’t reach out to those who were around you, you realize you should have said these simple words back then. You can’t help but think you would like to have someone to complain to and discuss your troubles with. In the end, you just want to be saved by someone.” – Onoya-san (ReLIFE)

“I think it takes a lot of courage to ask somebody for help.” – Yoake-san (ReLIFE)

“If you’re worrying about issues from your home, where the situation is different from everyone else’s, and after this is resolved, you would still like everyone to continue acting the same way as before. In that case, wouldn’t you try to protect your pride by hiding your problems from your friends, in order to avoid this awkward position?” – Yoake-san (ReLIFE)

“Being lovesick can be quite a painful sentiment.” – Hishiron (ReLIFE)

“Up until now, I had to go to a good high school if I wanted to go to a good university. I had to go to a good university if I wanted a good job. That’s what I used to think. But I’ve started to think that life isn’t quite that simple. That being said, while you’re allowed to be anxious about the future. Please don’t be too pessimistic about it. I understand how worried you are right now, but there will never be a point of no return. There will always be opportunities in the future to receive help from others. After all, the world is a vast place. I’m sure there will always be a path for someone to take, but sometimes people focus too much on the negative and waste all those precious opportunities. If at some point in life, you make a mistake or keep failing over and over again, and you can’t help but think it’s useless and you’re a good-for-nothing, remember, you’re only taking a detour, and I’m sure further along the path will come a day where you’ll think, “It was a good life experience.”” – Hishiron (ReLIFE)

“The more I become interested and conscious of you the more confused I become. It’s like I become someone other than myself.” – Hishiron (ReLIFE)

“Even though this happiness is just a dream, even though I will disappear like a dream, I’m sure I wont regret walking down this path.” – Hishiron and Kaizaki (ReLIFE)

(Lun Sang – Being Your Most Adventurous Dream) Lyrics + English Translation

Lun Sang just mashed up two of JJ Lin’s songs – “Being You” (當你) and “Your [Most] Adventurous Dreams” (那些你很冒險的夢) into this song which almost made me cry.

Lun Sang – Being Your [Most] Adventurous Dreams

If there was a day,
when I return back to the past
when I return to the very first “me”
Can’t you feel that I’m not that bad?
If there was a day,
I leave you far away
Unable to meet with you again
Can’t you notice that I already said “Goodbye”?

Your most adventurous dreams – I accompanied you in your craziness,
Folding a paper plane that bumps into the rainy day and ultimately dives down
Too cruel is it for me to say, because love is so heavy
Yet you refuse to understand, as you only face and walk away from me

When two hearts begin to vibrate
When your pupils learn to dodge
When love is slowly covered up, leaving only darkness
Our distance, like a shadow, is pulled apart
When a love story ends saying,
I can’t find your pure face
When every minute and every second of life is moving for you
Because of my heart clinging to you so much, my heartaches will be multiplied
When you squint your eyes and laugh
When you drink a cola as you make noise
I want to be nice to you
You ever since never knew
Thinking of you, thinking of you
Can actually become my addiction

When you tell me the worries of today
When you tell me that you can’t sleep in the deepest night
I want to tell you,
Yet I am scared to say something wrong,
“I like you so much,
don’t you know that?”
Probably this hollowness made me think too much
Probably I should just return to my bed
and meet you in my dreams,
Then, not even an iota of regret,
I say aloud:

Your most adventurous dreams – I accompanied you in your craziness,
Folding a paper plane that bumps into the rainy day and ultimately dives down
Too cruel is it for me to say, because love is so heavy
Yet you refuse to understand, as you only face and walk away from me
You really didn’t understand; [so] my love has already fallen.

Quotable Quotes from Rush to the Dead Summer

Even thought I could not bear to finish watching this Chinese TV Drama Series, there are quotable quotes in here (Chinese + English):

as

“有時候,做兩條平行綫,也挺乾脆的,並不會有一個個意外和難過,在各自延伸空間,保持適當距離,看不一樣的風景,但有時候,這只是一種自我安慰。” – 立夏 (夏至未至)

“Sometimes, being in two parallel lines is quite straightforward, not even being able to have those bits and pieces of surprises and sadness, but by being in our individually extensible space, maintaining an appropriate distance between us, looking at our different sceneries. However, sometimes, this is just a kind of self-consolation.” – Li Xia (Rush to the Dead Summer)

“有的時候,回過頭來想想,年少時候的好感,可能只源于一次敞開心扉的深談,還怕女生的眼淚,然而當遇到一個堅强到令人心疼的女生,卻希望他只會在我的面前流淚。” – 陸之昂 (夏至未至)

“Sometimes, when I look back, the good feelings I had when I was young were actually only due to a moment of conversation that widely opens one’s heart, being afraid of a girl’s tears. Then when I encounter a girl so determined that it makes people’s hearts ache, I too so hoped that she would cry only in front of me.” – Lu Zhiyang (Rush to the Dead Summer)

“太多時候,我們寧願製造一個假象,也不願説出真正的原因。少年的心,就像雨後蝸牛的觸角一樣柔軟,一碰就退縮。最後,只留下堅硬的軀殼。” – 立夏 (夏至未至)

“For too many times, we would rather create a false appearance, and also not willing to say the real reason behind it. The heart of a teenager is as soft as the antennae of a snail after rain, such that it flinches even from a single push. In the end, what remains is the hard shell.” – Li Xia (Rush to the Dead Summer)

“有些情緒只能發生在最透明的少年時代。那是頭頂的藍天,永遠是一張寂寞的臉,浮雲將一切渲染上悲傷的釉質。從某一刻起,那些深藏在心底的秘密,讓我們一夜長大,讓我們逐漸體會到 – 傷感、無奈、甚至錯過。” – 陸之昂 (夏至未至)

“Some feelings can only happen during the brightest moment of our youth. That was a brilliant day with blue skies which forever will be a face of loneliness; the floating clouds would then embellish everything with the enamel of loneliness. From a certain place, those deep secrets deeply hidden in the bottom of our hearts will cause us to suddenly grow up overnight, and cause us to slowly grasp a true understanding of sadness, helplessness, as well as missing opportunities.” – Lu Zhiyang (Rush to the Dead Summer)

“其實,有很多的事情不是你想的那樣的。有時候,我們需要勇敢地去表達自己内心的想法,或許你會發現我們誤解了很多的事情。可能,有些事情跟我們期待是一樣的。” – 傅小司 (夏至未至)

To be honest, there are many things that are not what you think they are. Sometimes, we need to bravely express what we really think deep inside our hearts, or perhaps you would notice we misunderstand too many things. Maybe, there really are things that actually match what we have always been waiting for.” – Fu Xiaosi (Rush to the Dead Summer)

“那些真正讓你遺憾的事兒,只有你自己心裏最清楚。” – 店員 (夏至未至)

“Those things that really make you regret can only be clear inside your own heart.” – Shopkeeper (Rush to the Dead Summer)

Hao

The word 好 is quite interesting. In Chinese, it is primarily pronounced as ㄏㄠˇ (hǎo), which means “good, well”. It can also be pronounced as ㄏㄠˋ (hào), which means “like, love”. In Japanese, it can be read as 好き (suki), which means “like, love” also, and it can also be read as 好 (kou), being part of 格好いい (kakkoyii), which means “good, cool, awesome”, and 友好 (yuukou), which means friendship.

Notice how it is composed of two radicals – a girl and a person. This can mean something romantic – a girl and a guy, and the context of the word being “like, love” or “good, well” are both applicable. Girl + Guy = Like. Girl + Guy = Good. Still, the more original and accurate meaning would be something familial or filial. Girl + Child = Good.

Digging into this further, 喜 (xǐ) is a word that means “happiness, happy event”, and 歡 (huan) also means “joyous, merry”. Adding 喜 and 好 produces 喜好, which means like, love, to be fond of. Adding 喜 and 歡 produces 喜歡, which also means like, love, to be fond of. If you reverse the order of the words, the meaning changes into “joyful, happy, delighted”. If you add 喜 and 喜, you have 囍 (xǐ), which kind of implies two people liking and loving each other, leading to double happiness. This is seen in weddings.

Did you know that a broken heart could actually cause heart problems?

Did you know that a broken heart could actually cause heart problems?

Also known as the “Broken Heart Syndrome”, Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy is a very brief* heart disease that is similar to heart failure**.

In Japanese, this is called Takotsubo originates from the Japanese words (tako; octopus) and (tsubo; pot), referring to the appearance of the heart in imaging studies.

A classic story of this heart disease is when someone who is a bridesmaid suddenly collapses (and probably, dies) during the wedding of her ex-boyfriend. Cruel, isn’t it?

* transient, or very brief

** heart failure here pertaining to Acute Coronary Syndrome, but the difference is that there is no clogging of arteries unlike in most cases

*** read as たこつぼがたしんきんしょう, or in romaji, “takotsubo gata shinkinshou”

This disease can be seen as ST elevation in an ECG without any coronary atherosclerosis. Possible mechanisms include exaggerated catcholamine release and response. The “acute heart failure” is also reversible, unlike in actual myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Quotable Quotes from It’s Okay That’s Love

“The only person you really need to understand, even more than anyone else, is yourself.” – Ji Hae Soo (It’s Okay,That’s Love)

“You think my pain is funny? To use it for your writing? – Ji Hae Soo (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“I sell off my own pain for profit, so what does someone else’s pain matter?” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“Others say that they like how being in love makes their hearts flutter, but I hate that feeling even more than vomiting after a night of heavy drinking.” – Ji Hae Soo (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“Even nice people can hurt others.” – Ji Hae Soo / Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“It’s because the characters that we once thought were strange, dark, psychotic, and delusional are now seen as sweet, adorable, helpless, and pitiful – the mental patients we all pointed our fingers and laughed at. But the unique pain of the individiduals is what we get to realize once we get to know them.

This is what psychiatrists say – that we are all patients of sorts ourselves. Just like a common cold, a heartache is a frequent illness for all. We must all recognize that, and understand each other’s pain. By doing so, this world will become a bit more beautiful than it already is.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“Most people aren’t comfortable accepting people who are different from us. We believe them to be wrong since they’re different from us. Scary thought, isn’t it?” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“Even if you haven’t been able to love for the past thirty years, and even if the love you’ve tried to grow for the past 300 days has ended, I’m telling you that it’s still okay, because it only takes one moment… to feel that love again, my friend.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“By the next time you fall in love, try just feeling it. Without planning ahead.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“I like to believe that all love in this world is as pure as your first love.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“You should definitely just move on. Move on and don’t even look back. For whose sake? For your own sake.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“I also want someone other than me to understand myself.” – Ji Hae Soo (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“There’s no such thing as getting hurt and losing out when it comes to love. Love creates both lasting memories and reasons to celebrate.” – Jo Dong-Min (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“There is something that I’ve learned through loving you, and that is, the fact that the sexist kind of relationship in this world is true friendship between a man and a woman.” – Jo Dong Min (It’s Okay, That’s Love)

“You don’t become the weaker one because you love more. You become the weaker one because you’re not free at heart. Not the worry of needing to get back as much as you give, but knowing that being able to love – that is enough to be okay and happy. That’s what it means to be free at heart.” – Jang Jae Yeol (It’s Okay That’s Love)

Excerpt from Episode 8:

Ji Hae Soo: Isn’t it enough that we’re able to be next to each other like this? Jang Jae Yeol, let’s be honest with each other. Why is it that all men are constantly making a fuss to sleep with women?

Jang Jae Yeol: Desire plus love.

Ji Hae Soo: Isn’t it a confusion between sex and love?

Jang Jae Yeol: If you know of a more pious way to prove the love between a man and a woman other than the act of making love in bed, then tell me, because I’d like to know.

Ji Hae Soo: You’d better just go to bed unless you want to hear me call you an animal.

Jang Jae Yeol: Okay, I admit it. I’m an animal. I’m only going to say this because you want me to be honest. So to be honest, I’m full of thoughts of wanting to sleep with you.

Ji Hae Soo: How can you be so upfront about it?

Jang Jae Yeol: Because I don’t think of it as being weird. Because that’s just a basic human desire.

Ji Hae Soo: So I have to be understanding of it?

Jang Jae Yeol: No. If I wasn’t able to fight back against my basic desires and force you to do something then that would be undoubtedly be wrong. Even in the eyes of the law, that would clearly make me a criminal. But just an innocent thought without acting upon it is completely natural. To have you see these thoughts in my head when I’m not acting upon them as a bad thing, and to have you badger me about them is unfair and uncalled for. So, from a man’s point of view, I’m just saying that you’re being cruel.

Ji Hae Soo: I see. What if I told you that I didn’t want to?

Jang Jae Yeol: Then I would just go sleep in my room. Even though it’s disappointing, what else can I do about it?

Ji Hae Soo: Then just go to sleep. Because I don’t want to.

A Graph of Emotional Investment on Relationship Levels

Emotional Investment
Study this graph.

I. Regions

A. Region of Disappointment: Giving too much emotional investment over a relatively limited relationship level will only give you disappointment.

B. Region of Detachment: Lacking emotional investment over a relationship that deserves more attention makes you detached. It can be good for you, but the other party can end up being hurt.

II. Lines

A. Natural Flow: It represents natural growth of a relationship, slowly increasing at first, then soaring high in the end. In the end, Undefined = Soulmates. The graph follows the graph of natural number (Euler’s number) function y = e^x.

B. Feeling Close: It represents the relatively healthy although a bit excessive attempts on being close with somebody, leading to a risk emotional investment at first, then normalizing into the Natural Flow in the end.

C. Toxic Clinginess: It represents excessive investments of emotions until one reaches the breaking point, where things take a turn, and the friendship dies.

D. Crushing on You: It shows above normal emotional investment at every level of the relationship. Unless it stagnates or dies, it will eventually reach a Confession Point, with two possible outcomes:

1. Happy Ending: The acceptance of the confession causes a soar in the emotional investment. Undefined = Lovers.

2. Rejection: The rejection of the confession causes an abrupt, forceful, demanded collapse of emotional investment, causing massive injury and heartbreak. Undefined = Strangers.

3. No, not possible.: Maintaining the level of emotional investment after Confession Point is just impossible. Undefined = Undefined.

E. Afraid of falling in love.: Excessive emotional investment occurs uncontrollably at first, but given that great of a fear and knowledge that it’s going to be really messy, the individual decides to disengage and detach. Undefined = Distanced.

III. Special Points

A. Confession Point: Expression of feelings.

B. Breaking Point: You’re just too toxic, man.

C. Point of No Return: It is the intersection of the “Crushing on You” line, “Feeling Close” line, and “Afraid of falling in love” line. Located above the Natural Line and in-between “Friends” level and “Close Friends” level, it is where things become inevitable.

The Pharmacology of Love

If love is a drug, then it must have a pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties.

I. Pharmacodynamic Profile

A. Receptors of Love

1. Words of Affirmation – Some people feel the effects of love when they hear the words “I love you.” or compliments that uplift their spirits.

2. Quality Time – Some people feel the effects of love when they spend time with their family and friends.

3. Gifts – Some people feel the effects of love when they receive the gift, or more importantly, the thought that was given in giving that gift.

4. Acts of Service – Some people feel the effects of love when someone goes through the burden of doing something for them.

5. Physical Touch – Some people feel the effects of love through a hug, a pat on the shoulder or on the head, or the touch of a hand.

B. Mechanisms of Action

1. Consistency and Faithfulness – Love is called love because it consistently binds on its receptors. In love, you always show words of affirmation, spend quality time, give gifts, do acts of service, and give a pat or a hug.

2. Perseverance – When love binds to a receptor, the cascading effects persevere throughout all circumstances and environmental factors.

3. Patience and Forgiveness – When love is denied through proteosomal degradation, or made toxic through drug-drug interactions with fear and pride, it becomes unstable. However, it stabilizes by itself towards patience and forgiveness.

4. Kindness and Gentleness – Love is kind and gentle. It binds to all its receptors in an endearing manner. It doesn’t bind too fast, too rashly.

5. Honesty and Truthfulness – Love does not try to conceal or hide its potential for being weak. It doesn’t bind to other compounds that will hide its effect. Because of its honesty, it is willing to be molded into a more potent, therapeutic, and life-changing metabolite that will induce further positive changes leading to the growth of a person.

6. Respect – Love always respects. It listens. It waits until you are stable. It doesn’t enter the cell when it is unwelcome – when there is no receptor. When the cells in your body need love, they send signals, and the love molecule willingly enters into you.

C. Drug-Drug Interactions

1. Synergism: When love goes hand-in-hand with other drugs, it becomes more potent than it normally is.

e.g. Love + Hope: If there is hope in love, then despite the lack of its consistency, there is promotion of its perseverance. Perseverance as a mechanism of action complements consistency. Hope is a drug that can either bring success or despair.

2. Addition: When love is added with other good although not too important drugs, it becomes really fancy.

e.g. Love + Cheesiness: For some mysterious reason, pick-up lines work really well. Cheesiness is a drug that has a mechanism of action in flirting that makes people fall in love. Ugh. For better or for worse.

3. Inhibition: When love is added to fear or insecurity, it cannot reach its full potential.

e.g. Love + Insecurity: Insecurity is a fear-type drug that simply prevents it from exhibiting its mechanisms of action – honesty, faithfulness, consistency. With insecurity, love cannot reach its fullest potential.

D. Indications: Being Alive. You cannot live without love.

E. Adverse Effects: The Eros isoform (conformation) of love has a tendency of becoming highly unstable, especially when it’s bound to a cofactor called “Your Crush” or “That Special Somone”. Being in love can lead to –

1. Insomnia: It occurs when you think of the other person too much.

2. Nausea: It occurs when you try to awkwardly start a conversation with that person.

3. Dizziness: It occurs when that person gives you a hug or kisses you.

4. Epigastric Pain: It occurs together with nausea, when you have butterflies in your stomach.

5. Malaise: It occurs when you know that the person that he or she likes is not you.

6. Tachycardia: It occurs practically all the time when it concerns that other party.

7. Angina: It occurs when you see that person in the arms of another, and when that person smiles because of another person that is not you.

8. Palpitations: It occurs when you are anxiously waiting for that person’s reply to your message.

9. Headache: It occurs when you are stressed by the fact that you are going to be a martyr in this fiasco of unrequited love.

10. Edema: It occurs when you suffer a first-degree burn on your finger when you accidentally touch a very hot surface on which you burned all your written hard feelings and unsaid words.

II. Pharmacokinetic Profile

A. Synthesis

1. Precursor: Love is synthesized from its precursor, which is love itself. Love only begets love.

2. Enzyme: Love synthesizes love by the enzyme lovease, because there is no other way to catalyze love but to simply love.

3. Products: Love comes from love, made to exist through love. Love exists when it begins to exist.

B. Component Processes

1. Absorption: Love is absorbed the moment it is found.

2. Distribution: Love is distributed instantly the moment it is absorbed. When love is bound and limited, it is inactive and does not grow. When love is free, it is active and does grow.

3. Metabolism: Love metabolizes to produce more love. During trials and tribulations, love proves its worth and potency. It is unaffected by CYP3A.

4. Excretion: Love is excreted as love when it overflows from somebody and inundates or floods another person.

C. Properties

1. Bioavailability: F = 0.5; Love is making sure that you are available to your loved ones – your friends and family. (Casanova, 2017) It does not have an Absolute Bioavailability because it cannot be administered via an IV line.

2. Bioequivalence: Love may appear in different forms – Agape, Storge, Philia, or Eros, but their systemic effects, measured by the Area Under the Curve or AUC (refer to reference), are equal.

3. Elimination Constant (Ke): 2.30/year [1]

4. Half-Life: 2637 hours or 110 days [2]

5. ED50 (Minimum Effective Dose): 42 mcg/mL [3]

6. TD50 (Mininum Toxic Dose): 666 mcg/mL [4]

7. Therapeutic Index: 15.86 [5]; Love is generally a safe drug.

8. The Agape isoform has a half-life of Infinity [6]. The values Ke, half-life, ED50, and TD50 cannot be calculated.

9. Dosage: 1000 mg per half-life

10. Volume of Distribution: 0.6 L/kg [7]

D. Routes of Entry: Love enters the blood through –

1. Enteral: Love is not ingested. Love is not inhaled.

2. Parenteral: If love could be administered via intravenous (IV) injection, then it would be highly potent. However, despite love having high efficacy, it is still not quite potent because it enters through dialogue and spending time with each other, and it is susceptible to misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, patience and understanding allows it to be administered parenterally, across space and time, across life and death, and through the stars (interstellar).

Refer to this link for the derivation of the graph and its resulting values.

1) ln(10)

2) ln(2)/ln(10) of a year

3) 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Effective love is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Therefore, ED50 = 42 standard units.

4) 666 is always associated with the adversary.

5) 666 / 42 = 15.86; This relatively high therapeutic index suggests a wide therapeutic window and margin of safety.

6) Forever exists in God’s love.

7) 0.6 L/kg is the Total Body Water. Love permeates a person.

Myocardium (n.)

We often associate the heart with the idea of love (romantic love).

The heart is a muscle pump.

It can become larger (hypertrophy) if the burden increases, just like how you can be courageous when you need to love somebody.

It can become fibrotic if you injure it, just like how emotional scars are formed after somebody hurts you.

And precisely because it is a muscle, you can do some workout, like how love is a process that needs a lot of practice and patience.

[Medical Definition: Myocardium refers to the muscular part of our heart.]
